East Coast seem to have revamped their web site and for me it's literally a mess and much is unreadable and it looks like it's all gone wrong. Anyone else finding this problem, or is it just me and my computer.

Your browser seems to be sulking- I've just followed the link, and the blue links in that photo are in a bar across the top and the pictures are complete.

Looks like it's the same with IE and Firefox for me, strange.

Mind you I've had some connection problems with loads of sites this evening.

On my system running XP SP3, it seems to be displaying correctly on Firefox (Beta13), Internet Explorer 8, Safari, Google Chrome and Opera. It is also displaying properly on a Netbook with Windows 7 Starter and IE9. What browser is producing the garbling on your system?

Edit - typing this while Peter was posting.

Linux with Firefox 3.6.8 seems to be fine too, so I doubt it’s a browser problem. It looks to me like the CSS (style sheets) are not being downloaded or displayed for some reason. If you have an ad-blocker make sure http://static.eastcoastcdn.co.uk/cdn-1cd3759bb716400/css/commonhomestyles.min.css (retrieved from the site’s source code) is allowed to connect. If you’re using a wi-fi connection it might be a symptom of poor signal (this happens to me when I have a poor signal – the browser gives up trying to download the various embedded documents and just gives me the text and any images it could find). Other than that I don’t really know what to suggest.

Aside: I tried to attach a screen shot from my browser but the post tells me the attachment is not found…

Reason: missing a very important ‘not’ in second sentence!

This is definatley to do with your computer peter, sometimes internet lag or processor lag can stop it rendering properly. My old computer used to do this all the time. Just hit F5 and refresh and all will be normal. Sometimes browser plugins can slow the browser down when they are run. If it doesnt usually happen ignore it, chances are you won't see it again, but on a lower spec machine it can happen quite often.

Although ive only ever seen IE do this.

Re-booted router and computer this morning and all is well. I believe there was some sort of problem with NTL last night but it was normally a case of I could access a site or I could not - this one may have been an inbetweener. The difficulty being compounded by the fact that EC claimed to have a "new look" site - clearly it was that!!

Thanks

Peter
