The Signal looks a bit like an Austrian Distant-Signal, but the House on the left does not...

I think it is taken from Klosterneuburgstrasse/Handelskai in Vienna. on the south bank of the (main) Danube looking west. The church in the back ground is the St Francis of Assisi church in Mexikoplatz. If you look at 48°13'4.22"N, 16°24'57.13"E on Google maps the green roofed building building has the red ends of the one in your photo. The railway line is the frieght only extension of the S-Bahn S-45 line to Handelskai serving a number of docks and factories along the Danube. Regards, Peter.
