Ah ha! This article pretty much confirms my response to someone when they mentioned seeing a shunter (probably a Class 08 'Gronk'in the International platforms...

Funnily enough my mum went to see this very thing last year along with some friends of hers. They went to Waterloo via Reading from Swindon rather than direct to Padd and Bakerloo Line. She said it it was a brilliant show.

I saw an 09 in there when I took a train there last Autumn. I had no idea what it was doing there.
