Any thoughts appreciated on this little problem: I edited a timetable by adding rules. I've just swapped laptops. Beforehand I saved these edited timetables onto a dongle. On my new laptop I have downloaded the sims and copied my edited timetables from the dongle into the sim folder on the laptop. When I go to operate say Exeter - the edited timetable shows up along with those that come with the sim, but once I start a new game with my edited timetable, although all the trains are there - there are no rules. Not only the ones I added have vanished, but all the rules that were on the original timetable are no longer there too. What's occurring? Cheers Nick Log in to reply |

I'm not sure, but don't you need the WTT and WTR files? (WTT = timetable, WTR = rules)

Sounds like you copied the WTT file but not the associated WTR file.

That would have been my second question....I was wondering if the files were copied into the wrong place if the new laptop was Windows 7 but not copying the WTR would also do it!

Thanks for your help. Your replies helped me identify a string of errors - but ultimately when I originally saved my edited timetable, I saved it as the WTT rather than 'all files'. All sorted now - thanks again. Nick Log in to reply |
