Three Bridges has been split up into three parts- Croydon, Gatwick and Brighton. Brighton has already been released. As for the others, see the post above.

There used to be a Beta-Release of Croydon somewhere but I don't know if it is still avaliable...
Might be a Year (or even two?) ago?

I wonder, could the previously released 'warts and all' Croydon beta be added to the downloads section?

I lost my copy when my old laptop lost the will to live.

Hello Edmund

Indeed Bexhill, Havensmouth X/ing Box, Pevensey & Westham, Hampden Park, Eastbourne, Polegate and Berwick are due to close next year. But they being transferred to the new Three Bridges ROC not the excisting Three Bridges ASC. I do have the time scale for the closures but can't print them as the consultation for the effected staff is still to take place. But Littlehaven X/ing box will be moving to TBASC's panel 7 over Christmas 2012. The rest of Arun Valley signal boxes ie Billingshurst, Pulborough & Amberley will also going on to the excisting TBASC's panel 7 in the same timescale as the the East Coastway scheme. I hope that has cleared a few things up.

Regards Darren.

There are now 2 discussions going on in here at once. This is getting confusing...

Discussion 1:
SimSig Three Bridges / Derby

SimSig Three Bridges is actually split into Croydon, Gatwick and Brighton sims. The latter sim is Geoff's and is available as a beta release in the download area (possibly for logged-in members of the forum only). Croydon and Gatwick sims are Kurt's, and he seems to be hiding at the moment. In the usual SimSig way there won't be updates to how a sim is progressing, but with Kurt's current absence, don't expect anything soon.

SimSig Derby is (one of) Howard's project(s), and in the usual SimSig mantra: "It will be ready when it's ready".

Discussion 2:
Three Bridges signalling centres

There is the current Three Bridges Area Signalling Centre (ASC), which will be expanding in the near future with the addition of the 'Arun Valley' boxes, and the Three Bridges Rail Operating Centre (ROC), which is currently being built and will eventually take over from all the Sussex signal boxes/centres, and I believe also Kings Cross and West Hampstead. The initial timescales have been announced, and Darren/dabbadaz mentions some of these in his post, but we will see what actually happens.

The current plan is that the ASC will eventually close and be transferred into the ROC. This seems odd whilst the Arun Valley boxes are moved to the ASC now, and then into the ROC later, but this is Network Rail; it only makes sense to those in the know (!)

Where do I sign up to the bring back Kurt campaign. Trent is a work of art and I can't believe I might not get to play his other creations.
