Can someone please explain the meaning of the small, slim, grey right-angle triangle symbol occasional shown next to track. It's not clicklable, and it doesn't appear to change state (e.g. colour). An example is seen between BE71 and BE42 on the modern diagram for South Humbersikde? I've had a look in the Wiki, and it is not shown amongst the other symbols used in SimSig. Looking at the diagram on the wiki, that looks like catch points. The points should swing automatically when a route is set and should be keyable using left and right click. They're just points, like any others. Log in to reply |

I can only guess you mean the trap points, but I wouldn't call that a triangle!

Yes - there is a trap point PBE58 there - that can be the only thing you are referring to. They protect PBE43 (Down Main to Down Slow points) due to the downhill gradient if a train were to pass SBE71 at danger.
