Hello all, Just a post to say the next installment of Z-Trains is now online, covering the Western region between 1990 and 1999. Z-trains only features trains that have a 'Z' in the headcode, so this includes railtours, one off freight/light engine movements and other oddities. Video Description: Turn back the clock to the 1990s, when Loco Hauled passenger trains still ran, the wonderful Merlin livery was created and not a GM in sight until the late 90s! Z-Trains re-creates the specials, one-offs and railtours that ran between 1990 and 1999. Using the excellent Six Bells Junction, TugTracker and Cl37lg websites for research, this hour long feature video focuses on the Western Region, featuring locations such as Paddington, Oxford, Taunton, Exeter, Carmarthen, Swansea and more, there is plenty of variety to see such as Class 47s on Rugby Specials, a Trio of 37s on an ADEX, an 8TC set visiting Wales towed by a Cl 33, Hertfordshire Railtours sending HST's all over the place and also a variety of specials heading to Devon and Cornwall for the Solar Eclipse. Classes featured: 20, 31, 33, 37, 43 (HST), 47, 50, 55, 58, 59, 60, 66, 150, 165, 166 & various steam locos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrLtPMkHs3U There are some inconsistencies, as there is limits to what I can use but for these I have used the closest match I could possibly use.
