Hi

Just a fun poll to see which football team you would like to win the League Cup Final this Sunday (24.02.13)

Please note it is to see who you would like to win NOT who you think will win.

As I am from Bradford I want Bradford to win.

Not bothered either way. What I do know it will be the usual chaos on the North Circular

I was unable to get a ticket so will now need to find a 'quiet' pub that has Sky Sports. Lol

Unless UEFA have changed their rules it could be interesting if Swansea win!

The rules were always that the European place was for an English club. So even though Swansea play in an English league they couldn't represent England in Europe as they're Welsh!

The same would apply if Berwick Rangers ever won a Scottish competition. Although they're in Scottish league they are physically in England!

That may have changed the rules at some point.

UEFA will be hoping Bradford City win

Even though I am a Bradford fan I think Swansea will just win it, but this is irrelevant. Bradford have already 'won' by just getting to Wembley and even if Swansea 'humiliate' us our fans will be still be celebrating.

Good luck to both teams who have deserved to be in the Final. Your Chelsea, Man Utds and Liverpools will now have to watch a proper final

This Final is for the 56 who perished in the fire of 1984. You will always be remembered.

Chelsea Reserves, Manchester United Reserves or Liverpool Reserves? Look at the teams that are put out and none of the big teams are bothered about the Mickey Mouse Cup (or whatever it is called this year). Ever since Alan Hardaker started off the Football League versus Football Association war in the 1960s because he wanted something to compete with the Football Association Cup it has been an irrelevant competition which only adds to the number of games we have to play in this country as compared with the top teams in other places and is one of the reasons why all of our players are knackered when we get to any international competitions.

It might suit the armchair never miss a match as long is it is on Sky supporter, but the sooner the competition is removed from the calendar (or becomes a lower league competition only) the better it will be for the state of English football.

Edit: posted while Steam Buff was editing to add the note about those who died in the fire. No intention to disrespect those who suffered and their families.
