As a person who does not live in the UK anymore, seeing the subject line with the sim name, time and which timezone it applies to, and whether its open or closed to me is very helpful. As most games are done before I even get home from work, I can easily scan what is available if anything.

I definitely agree that using a title as asked for (Simulation, Date, Time (including the timezone!)) is important; and in-fact should be a requirement (as currently(?)). As someone who is subscribed to the Session Details area of the forum for eMail notification of new sessions advertised, receiving an eMail that just says, for example, "Drain 25/12/2013" does not help at all - particularly as the timestamp on the [usually pretty instant] eMail may not be the same time that the hosting is starting at; the host could have simply posted advance notification of a hosting occurring later on. So it should be a "hard'-and-fast'" rule, and as such any thread not following this should be deleted without warning nor exception (which I note has been happening quite a bit lately). I believe that it was previously talked about about some kind of module for Joomla/Kunena (or possibly Agora, back when that was used) that may be able to handle the hosting information and possibly require hosts to provide all the details necessary for their hosting to successfully be advertised to others on the forum. If that solves the issue at hand, then I'm all for it personally! The message body shouldn't necessarily have to use nor follow a strict template. Yes, it would be nice (and helpful) if the key information was clearly marked, and maybe appropriately formatted, etc., but I certainly don't think it should really be contested if someone wants to alter an aspect or two of the template, perhaps adding something more to it, or not even use a template at all..! I know that I have my own template which uses the hosting template suggested, but has added information on-top (below) - and at-least one person has previously asked me if they too could use it, so it must be good... If I'm not mistaken, there is a mention somewhere (perhaps on the Wiki?) about thanking the host after the session. Perhaps it could be added that you're also welcome, or even encouraged, to provide some ideally constructive feedback to the host about any aspect of the session, too? So, if the host's message body isn't totally clear, let the host know in a friendly manner!  On the subject of sessions with IP Addresses published in the shout box - in my experience these have often ended up being disrupted by unknown untoward elements, and hence it is highly unlikely that I personally will join any sessions if the IP Address has been published in the shout box. I may have even previously left a session because of either a) the IP Address of it having been published in the shout box after I joined or b) because shortly afterwards the session began to suffer from disruption. Oh, and to add.... From my years of experience as a founder/co-founder/administrator/moderator/consultant/etc. often dealing with the many back end aspects of various online forums/communities/etc., you do need some level of order ('formalities'), else things can get messy all too easily. Things like this are only formalities, and once dealt with things tend to run quite smoothly indeed.
