Blackrod Jcn SB which was the jcn for the famous L&Y Horwich loco-works has now been abolished and demolished. Next is Walkden High-level, Atherton Gooods-yard and Crow Nest Jnc. The only (signal) crossing keepers box is Bromley Cross left in Bolton; used to be a quaint SB till NR put up the protective prison!

Hest Bank and Bare Lane crossing boxes have also been abolished. Next up, the Blackpool line...
