Anyone know if you can get the Open Train Times box diagrams to work on a mobile phone?

E.g. http://www.opentraintimes.com/maps/signalling/KX/1

My wife has a HTC but it does not work on that.

Ah so different browsers can be installed - then that seems to be the answer. Not sure what the supplied browser is, but I was thinking of getting a phone similar and having the KX diagram would be handy every evening.

It is probably that the default browser doesn't support SVG/websockets/HTML5 which I believe is what the application uses. It certainly would have been useful in my commuting days when it came to do I or do I not get another pint.

As far as I know it works fine on the iPhone browser, as well as on Chrome on Android, and probably most other Webkit based browsers.

Not sure on Windows Phone, might have to wind up the emulator!

Yeah, you need a modern-ish browser to run the maps. Amusingly, they don't work on the Windows XP/IE8 combination I use at NR, but work on the supplied iPads :-)

Network Rail's IT technology is wildly out of date. It is not unknown to take half an hour just to log in, check emails and log out again, even if there are no new emails to read.

I haven't used Internet Explorer on a Windows PC of my own for a few years now. It works ok if I chose to, but it is far slower than Google Chrome.

The maps work fine on an HTC Windows Phone 8X.

That's quite impressive - I need to work on detecting if a browser supports SVG rather than just *loading* SVG

Have got it render using Firefox for Mobiles after a fashion. The only problem is that it does not horizontally scroll. Tried to find Chrome to download but there are numerous Apps in the Tesco App store called Chrome but none actually appear to be the browser and it refuses to download from the Chrome website.

Still - getting there slowly.
