Exeter Signal 653 Failed? 27/05/2013 at 19:19 #45179

Hi All

Been playing Exeter 2009 TT chained and at 00:08 I had a signal lamp failure in the Exeter Area, no problem usually although when I set a route over I didn't recieve the usual blank aspect, Signal 35 remained at danger and 653 cleared as normal. When 2E67 arrived I told it to pass 35 at danger and when it pulled up at 653 it complained of a failed signal(See Attached file), although it could be seen that this signal was showing its normal aspect. I looked in the forum but couldn't see anything previous and was just wondering if this was normal or not

Thanks in advance

havent got a copy of the sim to hand, but assuming 653 is a shunt signal, not all shunt signals have lamp proving repeating to the panel, so you will see it off, but the driver is stopped at a black signal.

ahh, that'll probably be it, thought there must be some form of explanation, although should that still generate a failed warning? As the failed aspect wouldn't have been detected

Thanks
