Hi, This may be in the wrong forum - if it is then could the Mods kindly move it? Something I've just noticed on the Carlisle Mod is that while trying to chat - the bar takes far too much room. I have a pretty terrible computer (it runs Vista), and so the chat bar just seemingly gets in the way - I personally thing the bar should be a lot smaller. I've attached a picture of it. It should be sizeable - though with your mention of a bar, I wonder if you mean the area between the bottom border and the lower controls is too large.

I think what Simon is referring to here is the height of the actual 'Send Message' box, which it's self, cannot be resized.

Geoff, would it be possible for the 'send message' part to be a pop-up box via F10, and only the received messages to be on permanent display (ie similar to the old style, but with the received messages in their own display rather than in with simulation messages?

Sorry if we're bombarding you with requests here but furthermore to Andy's idea, would it be possible to have an option in the settings to change whether they appear in a separate F10 message box or the main box for example? Personally, I prefer a message box but there are plenty of people who do not have the space for it.

Just my opinion, the three parts should be separated by a "splitter" which the user can use the mouse to resize each part and the problem should virtually be gone. Something similar to the following (it's of two .NET's SplitContainer, but you get the idea):
