Although not new to SimSig, I am still in the learning phase. My latest problem concerns the Cowlairs '84 timetable. The level crossing at Greenfoot is now (0845) closed (ie barriers lowered) but instead of 'CLEAR' is showing 'CROSSING BLOCKED BY ROAD VEHICLE', Can anyone help me, please? I'm cautioning all trains past the Crossing. Is this correct procedure and/or should I be taking any other action to clear the blockage. Many thanks Log in to reply |

You have to cancel any route set over the crossing, then raise the barriers so that the trapped vehicle can escape the crossing. Then re-set the route/re-lower the barriers and everything should be tickety-boo. Edit - MJD posted while I was typing. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 02/06/2013 at 19:55 by postal Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Brith3006 |
