I believe PayPal accepts payments from bank accounts directly, debit cards as Sacro says, credit cards... you can also buy PayPal gift cards in cash (and usually only in cash) and apply those to your purchase.

If you register a PayPal account, you can add your bank account to it. That's how I have done it.
