With the bundled timetable, at around 06:00 sim time I notice a problem for Brighton platform 4.Brighton platform 4 simplifier How am I supposed to deal with this situation? It seems that no matter what I do, some trains will be late or will be stuck. Is it an error of the timetable? Last edited: 08/07/2013 at 03:14 by alvinhochun Log in to reply |

It wasn't uncommon for platform workings to contain that sort of error. When I was in the box we just worked with it; if there was an obvious alternative that was what we used (with suitable scribbles in the WTT), otherwise we played it by ear from do to day, with suitable quantities of phone calls to the platform supervisors to tell them where the trains were going to be today. Eventually, a workable pattern would usually emerge and we'd scribble in a few more alterations (and cope with the unavoidable slight delays).

As Simsig is meant to be accurate, we may as well pass on these errors to the signalman, just like in real life! Log in to reply |

Just noticed a few more of them! Does that mean that I am forced to use the "wrong" platform and get score penalty? Well... Log in to reply |
