How do you enter the two interpose identifiers on SX04-B at platform 4 Perth near the beginning of the simulation?

If you have a TD for the arriving train then just right click on it and you get an interpose menu. Otherwise right click on a signal near the train and interpose from the menu given there.

Or press the I key, enter the description, and then click the appropriate signal.

I was able to do a single interpose. However, in the case of SX04-B it requires two new identifiers. The procedures you gave produces only one, the remaining part of SX is a red line with no identifier? Thanks for your response.

What is SX04-B?

If the train divides, you need to interpose the second description at another signal on the platform (or use the grey arrow if it's a bay platform)

Sorry it should have been 5X04-B. Your response has solved my problem - thankyou.
