Hi all, Just a quick question: does convdata.exe work with the (relatively) new signal seeding of trains? If so, what is the syntax for generating a seed train? Thanks! Log in to reply |

Yes, it does. Use "SDP=S123" instead of "ENP=EXXX" and don't have an "ENT=" entry. Seed point codes are normally signal numbers, but the sim dev may have altered that. If in doubt, create a timetable with a seeding train and convert it to text form to check (a good way of testing any question with ConvData). Thanks Clive, I originally tried using “SDP=…” instead of “ENP=…” but was receiving an error stating something along the lines of “Key not recognised: SDP, line xxx”. I didn’t remove “ENT=…” when I tried it so that could’ve been the cause. I’ll give it another go over the weekend and report back. I started off with converting a timetable containing seed trains into a text file, but ConvData converted all seed trains with “ENP=<signal_no.>”, which was why I was a little confused. This sounds like you don't have the current version of Convdata.

Indeed, that was the case. A fresh download now converts as expected. Thanks a million for your help.
