Hi, I'm playing the new Brighton box. Currently using the default 2009 TT on midnight start I can get trains 2s42 and 5h58 to join in Brighton platform 2 but can not get it into the depot at the red line of the train in platform 2 goes past the signal for the points to the depot. I can only send the train to hove. It's full length is 246 metres is this correct? if so how do I get the train into lovers walk depot please? THanks Log in to reply |

" said:Hi,The entry length of 5H58 is incorrect. It should be 4/377 = 82m. Its length into Lovers Walk Depot is 8/377 = 164m. The stopping position for 2S42 in platform 2 needs to be changed to "Far end exact" so as to accommodate the joining and despatch of 5H58 to Lovers Walk Depot. Same TT the 2009 midnight start default that comes with the box. Can any on tell me the correct lengths for trains 5F31 and 2A00 these form train 5A00 on platform 4 but when they are joined the new train fouls the points for platform 4 and I had to back the train out to Preston park and enter lovers walk depot that way making 3 two other trains late. 5F31 is a 3car 377 and 2A00 is an 8car 377 if that helps Log in to reply |

Ben, 5F31 needs to have its platform stopping position altered to "Far end exact" and all should fit. Platform 4 is 250.50m long. Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

I have changed the length of 5h58 by opening the train list and adjusting its length. I now have to follow the suggestion -'The stopping position for 2S42 in platform 2 needs to be changed to "Far end exact"'- but cannot find a menu to do this. Can anyone explain how this is done. Log in to reply |

In the F2 menu, right click on the train you wish to edit, then timetable options > edit timetable > location list tab and at the location in question click the edit button. On the right hand side of the window there is a stopping position drop down menu.

To change it permanently you need to go into the TT itself (F4 button) and carry out the same procedure then save the TT (Timetable - Save As) either using the same name to over-write the existing TT or changing the name if you wish to preserve the original TT as well as having an edited version. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |
