On the weekend Saturday 26th to Monday 28th October Three Bridges ASCs Panel 7 (not the ROC) will be taking over the Arun Valley Route. Thus bringing an end to the Signalboxes at Billingshurst, Pulborough and Amberly and creating a new fringe with Arundel Signalbox just south of South Stoke Accommodation crossing. Picture 1 is the of the unmodified Panel 7 in its current state, picture 2 is the panel extension waiting to be grafted on to it at the far end.

I'd like to play with your lego panel! :cheer: That's a heck of a lot of buttons for virtually plain-line track. What are the green buttons for? Log in to reply |

Looking at the positioning I'd say they're probably Axle Counter resets?

Bear in mind that the current crossovers at Billingshurst and Pulborough (currently signalled by semaphore discs) are being resignalled to a full main aspect. Also additional signal sections are being created so nominally there will be a 4 minute headway.

If anyone is interested Billingshurst box is currently in the process of being moved to Amberley Museum, adjacent to Amberley station. The top storey arrived some weeks ago, with the lower storey and the frame to follow shortly.
