Bit of an odd one. I haven't used SimSig much over the last two months or so but today I found an odd problem.

Whilst going through a run with a timetable I noticed that certain sounds were not playing.I checked in options and all the pathways were correctly pointing to the files in the SimSig folder.I reselected one of the sounds but no sound played.I then tried a few more sounds which did play for other messages and changed the pointer to these sounds and these did play.

But I cannot understand why some files no longer play.If you click on the file in the folder,no problem.

Nothing been altered and all the files are wav files and all have worked perfectly until now.

Does anyone have any ideas about this problem ?

But any sound allocated for Train waiting at red signal doesn't play.
I've never been able to get this one to do anything either. There are a couple (Wrong route set for train) that only appear in multiplayer, and I think it's displayed when the client in control of the workstation receives the 'wrong route' call from the train.

Just to confirm, have you ticked the 'Play Sound' box for the messages that don't work?

Yep. I have managed to get the sounds up again by re-loading them into the folder. Dont know why it happened though !
