Shame the press had to make fun of the story.

What if the conductor had contracted rabies, that would of made the situation worse.

still a shame to take a mocking tone. I've been nipped by a squirrel on the finger in the past (my fault) and caught it at a bad place that left me bleeding badly enough to need to get somewhere to sort it out as well

apart from that i'm sure there are issues regarding staff dealing with the public bleeding in any way due to risk of spreading infection etc.
