I have installed the latest loader supported version of Brighton but it shows no timetables are present to load when I start a new simulation - any idea why? Thanks Log in to reply |

It sounds as though your download ended up the same as mine. When you open up Brighton you need to go to "Timetable" and then, from the sub-menu select "Open", and you then get a selection of t/t's to choose from. Take your pick and the game will then be loaded with a timetable. If you then open "Timetable" you will see it has been populated with trains.

Doing that isn't such a good idea - unless the timetable begins at midnight, the simulation will start at the wrong time, plus, more importantly, you'll be missing all seeded trains if there are any in the timetable. Normally, if Brighton is showing in the loader menu everything should have been installed correctly, but you can never know. If everything has been installed into the default directory, you ought to find Brighton.sim in C:\Users\Public\Documents\SimSig\Simulations, and the corresponding timetables in C:\Users\Public\Documents\SimSig\Timetables\Brighton Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick. Not so for those still running the venerable Windows XP as it will be somewhere in c:\Documents and Settings instead (I don;t have access to my XP SimSig machine to give you the precise location).
