I meant to post this a few days ago but forgot :whistle:  Courtesy of Network Rail For those who have not seen it, part of the current track state on the Cumbrian Coast Line on the west coast of Cumbria (between Flimby & Workington). Admittedly this was taken a week ago and Network Rail appear to have been working rather hard to restore the ballast and track. It's been quite interesting having road rail vehicles trundling past my house 24/7 and the ballast train from Shap Quarry top 'n' tailed with class 57s. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Worse than I thought. Is this what is referred to as 'cant'? I'm amazed the windmills and orange man don't just fall over ;-)
