It seems like the "View in web browser" button on the F8 Simplifier has some issue creating folders - for me, it tries to create the file "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Simsig\simplifier.html", but fails to do so. Upon investigation, it seems it's unable to create a Simsig\ directory in Users\Public\ on its own, and behaves once I create the folder manually.

I'm slightly confused as to why it tries to do it in Users\Public, rather than User\<currentUser> - I thought the Simsig default file install location was the latter, and hence would be where I expect it to put files it creates?

The loader sims and TT's have always been installed by default to a folder within "Users\Public Documents".

Reason: The installation for SimSig is generic and designed for use by all users of the machine its installed on to (we have to assume that any PC could potentially have more than one user). If the installer was to place files in the personal area of the user that installed it, any other user that attempted to use that same application may be able to as they may not be able to access the personal files of the user that installed it and thus it wouldn't work.

My mistake then! That would explain why I get the issue (non-default install) but most people don't.
