Multiplayer connection rejection by server 30/01/2014 at 16:37 #54607

I am trying to connect to another computer to play a multiplayer Westbury. We both have the identical updated versions of the loader and the Westbury Sim. However when I attempt to connect to play , the message box has the statement that the host server has rejected the connection attempt as "server is not running the same simulation or the same version".

However we both are running the same sim and the same version which has been updated through the loader.

Does anyone have any idea why the connection should be refused?

Only a version or sim mis-match would cause that error to be displayed. If you go to Help > About the version of loader and simulation appears in a popup with the Cajon Rail Logo. Check these numbers are definately the same, if they are then there may be other issues in play and we can examine in more detail.
