Just downloaded the timetables that have been released today for Victoria central and southeast and was wondering if there is any change to the previously released timetable

The included TTs for Vic Central and Vic Eastern were done by myself and NoisyNoel respectively. As the uploads weren't made by either of us, or with our knowledge we have no idea what changes were made, and how much of the work we've both done fixing the TTs the last couple of weeks has gone to waste. In the TT notes included with the sim, a polite request was made to post bugs on the forum and I'll fix them in my own time - nice to see patience has won through.... Ajax perhaps you have a comment? Looking at the Vicroria South Eastern timetables and comparing them: The warning about 1Q60-3 is present in both version (No change between them) The defensive driving rules are the same in both (Thought one might be different as someone has posted on here they'd changed them in there copy?) The main difference seems to be in train types. A quick skim through shows the 508 train types not being present in the "new" version. (5K08 is a 3/375 in the "new" version rather than 3/508) "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Last edited: 14/02/2014 at 14:04 by headshot119 Log in to reply The following user said thank you: sandy221 |

Quote:Timetable notes which are buried away in a .txt file rather than just being displayed in the timetable via the loader?Seems pretty standard - Complex TTs for Kings Cross, Trent and West Hampstead (to name but 3) have this. Quote: Yes, Noel posted that he fixed it and it would be released with other fixes shortly.... Log in to reply |

the only minor issue of note is the turnaround times for the early morning Gatex ECS. they have set down depature times at Victoria, and seem to Ring out just after arriving. maybe a rule for them to need at least 3-4 mins before ringing out? " said:" said:I too noticed that they tip out in about a minute and then are ready to depart empty. The thing is the 'Station Reverse' and 'Terminate Reverse' for the 8/460 are set for 7 minutes. I guess that means that either the dwell time's aren't working OR it means it bypasses the dwell times if set downs are set (Though IMO, I guess the latter probably applies).the only minor issue of note is the turnaround times for the early morning Gatex ECS. they have set down depature times at Victoria, and seem to Ring out just after arriving. maybe a rule for them to need at least 3-4 mins before ringing out?Or a custom Terminate Reverse dwell time (one entry against the train type) rather than a number of rules? " said:. . . the dwell time's aren't working . . .Have you updated to the latest version of the loader (v4.0.25)? There was a problem with the dwell times in previous versions which now appears to be fixed. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 15/02/2014 at 14:24 by postal Log in to reply |

I am indeed running on that version. In that case it must be the fact that the set down box is checked. It must think it's a set down passengers only stop and therefore is just ready to go. Of course the driver still has to change ends and even if there was another driver at the other end, passengers and luggage still have to come off so in theory it shouldn't be over-ridden and the dwell time should apply, for reversals at least. Very strange. I don't have either of the Victoria sims but I've just tested on another sim and the dwell time worked just like it says on the tin. A train with the terminate reverse dwell time of 00:07:00 set into the train type waited the full 7 minutes even though the return working was booked as set down only and the 7 minute dwell time made the departure 4 late against the TT scheduled time.
