Having been a solo player for years, I've recently dipped my toes in the water of multiplayer sims. If this question has been answered before, or if I'm just being thick, my apologies. I've searched the forum and the Wiki but haven't found the answer: If if I want to participate in (i.e. as a client) an existing multiplayer game which involves chained sims, e.g. Victoria Central + Victoria SE + West Hampstead, which sim(s) do I open? Do I just choose one, or do I have to open all three? Help would be appreciated. Log in to reply |

To play a particular part of the chain, you only need to connect to the specific sim you want to play. However, the host quite often appoint a particular sim in the chain where he/she will accept connections and distribute panels. In that case, do as the host says.
