Playing Brighton for the first time, Beginner level (no TC failures) using default TT. Somehow I've got this non-described train at Haywards Heath platform 3. No way to identify it, send it on its way or remove it. What can I do? Deleted all earlier saved games. Uh oh.

Train List sorted by Location.

It's 1A85, which seems to think it has no more timetabled trips.

I concur, 1A85. As to why a has a) stopped there and b) has no more TT'd trips is beyond me. But for now, just abandon the TT and it will bugger off on it's own

For some reason 1A85 has its location as Balcombe Tunnel Junction. Resetting it to Haywards Heath sends it on its way at 2150.

I gave the train list a quick scan and thought it was odd for something to be "terminated no more trips" I abandoned his TT and he started moving.

Also at a guess, I would guess that you've sent in a second train maybe while it was still in the station

I did the same. The train began moving (up), then the headcode mysteriously changed to 1A87, which previously had been waiting behind it. This left another non-described train at platform 3, which I renamed 1A85, but without altering its TT, it followed the first train towards Balcombe Tunnel and now I've got rid of them both. Thanks.

I'll remember your advice to check the train list for anomalies such as trains terminating in a tunnel!

Looking at it earlier, your undescribed train I believe to be 1A57.

The headcode didn't change mysteriously! You had the signal in rear set so it gave 1A87 the call-on into the platform behind 1A85, therefore you now have two trains that are not joining in the same section!
