369 posts 		I have seen it where you get a pop up box as a nice nudge that there's a new connection joining.

However somehow I have managed to disable this and can't find how to turn it on again.

Help appreciated!

I think this only occurred with older sims. The latest ones don't have the pop-up. If this returned some time in the future, I'd rather have the option to decide whether to enable it or not.

I think this only occurred with older sims. The latest ones don't have the pop-up. If this returned some time in the future, I'd rather have the option to decide whether to enable it or not.
Thanks. So I wasn't imagining things. Apart for being vilgilant in the connection and/or message panel, is there any other way of spotting a new connection. I have to admit that on occassion, having been distracted on a particular activity, I realise I missed the connection in the messge window wit the poor player patiently sitting there waiting for me!

The Network Control Panel should automatically open when someone wants to join.

Ahh right - I was leaving it open squirrelled off to the corner of the screen. So tip is to put the NCP plumb centre of the screen and close it once done.
