Rules have been amended to cover postings in shoutbox and what is considered SPAM therein. 6A) Spamming is defined as: i) the posting of unauthorised commercial advertising ii) repetitive posting of the same (or similar) messages to the forum or iii) posting the same (or similar) massage in the shout box repeatedly in a short period of time By i) we are not outlawing the posting of a link to say a one-off EBAY where you maybe selling something on a personal level - it's really to just cover what is normally recognised as SPAM - if in doubt just ask for permission. ii) is hopefully self-explanatory - there is not need to repeat yourself. iii) is to clarify that we do not bar people from posting "is anyone hosting" type questions in the shout box as long as it's not too many times in a short period of time. We have not defined a time but common sense on all parties should prevail. Hope that stops rows breaking out as they do from time to time. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs!
