I want to reverse an MPV at Herne Hill VS595 and send it back towards Beckenham Junction, but I cannot get it to validate. This seems the logical sequence, but it's not having any of it :huh:  Any thoughts? Log in to reply |

Modern era, Gareth. Unusually, if you try and turn the train around in platform 2 and send it back to Beckenham from there, it will validate - even though there are no points to get it there! Which year are you writing for, Gareth? Log in to reply |

No, it rejects 4 as well.

Can't get into platforms 3 or 4 from Beckenham, unfortunately. I think I'm going to have to reverse it at Wandsworth Road on the reversible. Log in to reply |

I've put this in our issue/idea system, number 11014. I think with that version, even if it won't validate, it will still work. As Danny surmises, the validation is independent of what might actually happen!

Thanks Geoff As it stands, the trains timetable is invalid and it will not enter the sim, but now that I have changed it to reverse at Wandsworth Road it works fine. Log in to reply |
