Nothing bad, honest. [video width=425 height=344 type=youtube]vxSiHjTr6m0[/video] Found this video on Youtube and thought it may be of use adding into the Wembley Mainline user manual. It's a Pendolino ECS move from (what looks like) the EFOC into Wembley Central, then reverses and travels via the Willesden Relief and rejoins the up fast. On a slightly related matter, I notice that during the Watford blockade in August, Virgin trains from Euston will be diverted via the Chiltern route. Willesden West Jcn - South West Sidings - Acton Wells Jcn - Acton Main Line - Greenford - South Ruislip. That would be some nice footage to get from the cab. Log in to reply |

Well the trains beeing use are 10 car 221,220 on this route.

The August blockade & diversion would make interesting timetables for the Wembley Main Line & Marylebone sims as well... hint hint!!

I travelled on the only through train Manchester-Euston via Chilterns during a blockade a few years ago. Double Voyager, packed throughout standard class with people standing in the aisles. TM saw me lurking in a vestibule with my track atlas trying to work out where we were, came over to chat about the diversion for a bit then quietly upgraded me to first class
