Hi all, I've checked through the manual and other threads and can't see anything on this. I'm wondering if it's possible to somehow change the height of the screen to save vertical scrolling as it's very awkward to keep track of anything happening above and below the main area. Any suggestions, as usual, gratefully received. Many thanks. Mal. Log in to reply |

The height and width can be resized the same as any other application.

Hello Mal. My screen resolution is 1440x900, and sometimes i use 2160x1350, 2160 (1440/2 = 720) 1440+720 = 2160. 1350 (900/2 = 450) 900+450 = 1350. My Graphic card is GEForce GT 430 1GB DDR3. I use Windows 7 Ultimate x64 I setup my configs at Nvidia Control Panel. It depends on the sim size, but i often use 2160x1350 with F2 List + F4 TT Edit + F8 Simplifier Opened. I'll post a screenshot later. Thiago. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: delticfan |

" said:The height and width can be resized the same as any other application. If you don't know how to do this, just hover the mouse on the top edge of any window, and click and drag to where you want it to be. If you want to fit more on, you can change the screen resolution (right click on desktop, click 'screen resolution' or 'properties' depending on the version of Windows you're using) to a higher setting, but this will make everything smaller. Following on from what Steamer says, if you find that your pc is already set to its default maximum resolution, you can if you choose change the DPI (dots per inch) in the registry, which will make everything smaller. However, if you're not sure what you're doing, it's inadvisable to go messing around in the registry. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/443-dpi-display-size-settings-change.html Scroll down to option 2. If you are thinking of how to increase your viewing power when on SimSig I think the best thing to do is to make sure your computer has a DVI plug on the back and that you have a spare screen (ideally one the same size) which also has a DVI plug on the back of it. All you need then is a DVI cable and bob's yer uncle. Dave Log in to reply The following user said thank you: delticfan |
