Hi all Is it possible to allow the 'Trackside equipment failure' message to be disabled? Especially for sims that are based on non-computer boxes, I much prefer the feeling of scanning my panel and seeing that the points haven't gone over, rather than being immediately told in the messages box. It feels like cheating! ALSO is there any feature whereby points have a chance to fail 'in transit', i.e. no detection in both the normal AND reverse positions? As soon as I see a points failure I can absolutely 100% immediately begin to make a plan which relies on the points detecting correctly in their previous position, even before I've tested them. It would be fantastic to have a rare occurrence where they're completely stuffed for a while. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Slash |

Yep you can. Go F3 ==> Messages, scroll down for the messages you don't want to see, untick the box
Sorry guys, I am in the business of making people wait! Log in to reply |

I believe (well whenever I have tried it anyway) that you still get the message in the "messages" window. I turned the text colour to black, so at least I couldn't read it! And turned the notification window off

" said:... turned the notification window offAt least for the time being, this would appear to be the most expedient solution - just get rid of the notification window. In the case of points failing out of correspondence, it can be achieved manually via the F11 menu, so it should be possible to program. Log in to reply |
