I just noticed that on the Wiki the map showing the sim layout has Prestwick Airport Tunnel as Prestwick Airport Funnel

Wow, thanks! Was this the additional sim coming "later this month" GeoffM was teasing about in the Wimbledon thread, or is that something else? ;) I can't seem to buy it, though. I'm getting a "no payment methods found" message at the top of the checkout page, and I just get directed to the same page when pressing "finish". Log in to reply |

An interesting Paisley SC fact - Paolo Nutini's brother Alex worked there as a signaller and transferred to the Paisley link at West of Scotland SC when it closed in 2011.

Might need some more information than that...where is the train (signal number) and where are you trying to send it?

I appreciate that you've now sorted the issue, but if you give us the details as requested by Lardybiker then the developer of the sim can check to make sure there is no bug there

There appear to be some bits missing from the Wiki- the Interlockings section only has Ayr- Elderslie.

Re problem 5T11. 5T11 standing at PH518 route set automatically to PH512 [ Power not suitable ] reset route to PK 484 train then departed as normal still running OK. Hope this helps I was running full ARS mode with Largs and Gourock on Auto. Regards Cabooseman [Martin] Log in to reply |

Anyway, down to the real stuff, i've played the 4.45 TT and am pleased to report that SIM wise there only appears to be one little problem. If you set the Gourock Auto Working button, ARS then declares UDI and pops trains in to platforms IT feels like rather than where the TT says they should go. So I un - set it and changed the TDs manually. The only TT oddball appears to be trains to be trains to Ardrossen. From about 17.00 on, they enter the branch and immediately turn to orange "Non ARS" and a message comes up "invalid timetable". I checked the TT manually and it popped up a message "no path from Ardrossen Town to Ardrossen South Beach". Despite having a fiddle about with paths and lines, I couldn't fix it. It seems a bit arbitrary as up to 17.00 all trains worked the branch perfectly. All in all an excellent SIM which even with ARS keeps you on your toes. A big well done to the developers of this one. I seem to be having the same issue with the Ardrossan services, although I have the issue from the first train booked into Ardrossan Town. The head code changes, but then goes NON-ARS with no valid timetable, and also no valid path between Harbour and South Beach. Regards. If so then what you describe would have [correctly] happened but that's meant for the diesel only days (admittedly I've not otherwise de-wired the sim).
