Hi Everybody, I have recently joined and its strange for me to find that the opportunity to have one of the countries newest control centres has not been taken up. There is one route in particular that I think will provide hours of enjoyment for the user. The valley lines. One route in which I found actual pictures from the control centre is Cardiff Queen street Junction (Which today had new platforms open) to Rhymeny with a service to Coryton. The route has 4 terminating stations along it (Rhymeny, Bargoed, Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly) that can offer quite challenging controlling. Along with the service to Coryton along a single track that has to run perfectly every time. Some pictures across 3 screens can be seen here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/llangollen_signalman/10645352194/in/set-72157637258752486/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/llangollen_signalman/10645370576/in/set-72157637258752486/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/llangollen_signalman/10645337775/in/set-72157637258752486/ I live in the area and quite often use this line. If it does look like something you might want to do let me know and I can supply you with any information. Regards, Ben Log in to reply |
