Hi All

A quick query. The current (and 2014 timetable) had a pair of 4 car 377's couple on Platform 2 and then proceed to overs Walk via the West Carriage Work. Going off the wiki, each 377/4 is 82m, so the total train length is 164m....

....and that doesn't fit between the Stop Block and 661 Signal.

So, the two questions are, 1) are the wiki lengths accurate, and 2), how much room is there between 661 and the Block?

Andrew

Sorry guys, I am in the business of making people wait!

Sorry, another question. The Sim Manual doesn't seem to mention this, but is Brighton Goods Reception, Neck, Engineers and the Sidings electrified? I might use them for the Thameslink Stablers that use the new yard on that site if it is....

Andrew,
I did a test. They are not electrified.

If I remember correctly from my 2012 TT (next on list for updating for loader btw) you need to have the stopping position as far end exact then they will fit / get in via west carriage road

Hi and Good Morning to all. I'm playing with timetable: 15 October 2009 v 1.4 0n Brighton v 4.0 and still having the same issue with platform 2 as the problem has still not been fixed with regard to trains 2S42 and 5H58 .They are too long after joining and will not go from there to Lovers Walk.

I know it's all to do with the sim and two 4 cars not stopping in the right place for the attachment (which can be edited), but you can always do what we do in real life and go round the houses via Hove and Preston Park and in via 29 points (north end) instead
