Hi all, running Mon-Fri TT with no delays set. I've got V271-4E in P4 due to depart for depot at 09:38, but blocked by V237-5E sat at S/Sisters turnback until 09:46 dep to P5. Random Northbound delays averaging 4 minutes have built up during the morning, causing a stack-up of trains Northbound. Not sure if this could be part of the problem? Scratched me head for any other reason or work around, but as usual open to comments/suggestions. Many thanks. Mal. Log in to reply |

The delays "could" be part of the problem, however is V237-5E stood on turnback road No.62 or 63? It is "booked" to reverse via No.63 road - which would mean it would not be in the way of V271-4E. Is Seven Sisters working under ARS or are you routing manually? The only way out is to try and get V237-5E to depart earlier - and also don't forget it's next working V237-5 will also need to run early to avoid snarling up the southbound Log in to reply The following user said thank you: delticfan |

I'm working Depot and 7 Sisters manually. Confession time (again!), didn't read the TT, and dropped V237-5E down No 62 road. Thinking back, I had a few trains turn 'purple' when heading to the turnback, so I've probably made the same mistake more than once, which wouldn't help with the delays. I really must start reading TTs fully! Yet again, humble apologies, and my forehead is getting sore from the slaps! Mal. Last edited: 23/02/2015 at 07:04 by delticfan Log in to reply |

Haha, at the end of the day, if it's the first time you've run the timetable then you are just "training." I'm sure the Line Controller would be able to turn the odd blind eye to the occasional error
