good evening im trying to write a timetable (south humberside) and have come unstuck.....

how long is a Freightliner cl 66 + 21 HHA?
same with a DBS coal Cl 66 + 23 HHA?
DBS biomass cl 66 + 25 "drax hoppers"?
Cl 60 or 66 + 8/10 pig shed wagons?

Joe Chandler (jc92) put a "length calculator" onto the downloads section a couple of years ago which will probably solve your problems. It is available here.

The HHA's are definately on there. Spec for the Drax Hoppers can be found in this article - http://www.railexpress.co.uk/news/first-purpose-built-biomass-hopper-unveiled

No idea what pig sheds are though.

Freightliner Heavy Haul use HHAs for coal, but DBS formerly EWS use HTAs for coal.
