As a lot of you know, my wife Natalie is on the waiting list for a Guide Dog, The Guide Dog will become her companion, and allow her to become more independant, but despite our best efforts we're still struggling. One of the requirements is for our 10ft x 10ft (approx) garden to be usable, so the dog can spend on it. Our landlord has relinquished all responsibility for the property, meaning it's up to us to sort it, both physically and financially, Financially, we manage, but this garden is a big project. Our target of £500 would go a long way to making the garden, and the back annex usable for ourselves and the Guide Dog. I've cleared a 5ft x 5ft area in the garden, and plan on putting a fence in, We were given a grant for home improvements but it is not enough, this is where you come in: I've set up a campaign for Natalie at GoFundMe, you can see it here: http://www.gofundme.com/GD4NJ For every £10 donated, £1 will go to Guide Dogs, as this not only helps us, but it helps Guide Dogs too. Please can you share this with as many people as possible. Many thanks Last edited: 24/04/2015 at 17:07 by welshdragon Log in to reply |

Here are the two updates I've posted on the GoFundMe page today: 10 hours ago: Natalie Here! You've donated £130 in under 1 day, that's amazing! Thank you! The money you donate will go towards the fence as Mark said, but also towards the essentials a dog needs, such as a bed, a bowl and some toys too! We're going to give £1 of every £10 raised to Guide Dogs, to help them pay for essentials too, such as vet bills, dog food and other important things, The total donation will be £50, which will go a long way, so please keep donating to me and share this campaign with others. You're not just helping me, you're helping Guide Dogs too! ------ Just now: £140 raised in 24 hours, Can we make it £200 in 48? I know we can! Remember that for every £10 raised I will give £1 to Guide Dogs UK, So please tell your friends, and tell them to tell their friends... ------ Thank you to the Simsig Community for all your donations so far. Introducing Sidney! Sidney is a 3yo Black Lab, he's a very gentle giant, who likes nothing more than to sleep, play, and more importantly work! Natalie and him already have an excellent bond, and they work very well together Oh, and as for the funds: When we went away just before getting Sidney, we came back and found the garden had been cleared, As my housemates had brought the equipment, I gave them some of the money, and donated the rest to Guide Dogs, We didn't need a fence in the end as the Mobility Instructor who dropped him off, and the current Mobility Instructor were happy that he wouldn't venture too far away from us, and to just watch him. some more pictures: Post has attachments. Hi I just want to ask if you have any recommendation for a dog house that is good for 120 lbs Labrador? I need to move her outside the house because she is getting bigger.

Just an update guys I saw this dog houses which have different styles and designs. Some of the houses are beautiful, spacious and looks comfortable to live with. What do you think about the dog houses? I'm open for more suggestions, though.
