I have installed Simsig on my Macbook Pro using Crossover using the instructions in the Wiki. Everything runs fine except when using F2. Right clicking on a train does not bring up the list of options. Have I missed something or is there a way round this? any help would be much appreciated.

I think that by default Mac OS assigns other things to the F-keys. On mine, for instance, F2 is increase brightness. Pressing fn (bottom left of the keyboard) with the F-key should get it to behave as expected.

Thanks for the reply Kev, but I can get F2 to work. The problem is when the train list comes up right clicking on a train does not bring the list of options up i.e Abandon Timetable, Run to another Timetable etc.

I have similar problems running SimSig on Xubuntu using Wine. Either the right click context menu does not show at all or the top level context menu ("Timetable Options", etc) shows but it doesn't response to any input so you can't access the sub menus.

I've not found a reliable way of making it work. Anecdotally it seems to work better if you left click on the row containing the train in the Train List before trying to right click on the train, but I often have to try several times before it does work. So I'm not sure if there is some sort of focus issue in the Wine API which is causing the issue.

Does the issue occur in both the XML and 'Classic' F2? (F3> Display> 'Legacy train list'

Thank you Steamer using the Legacy train list solved the problem.

Under Wine, I’ve found I have much better luck using the mnemonic letter keys to navigate the menu after right-clicking a train, rather than navigating with the mouse.
