Hi There,
While running Marylebone I had a TC failure track TBSACA the overlap for BS 104 Signal fail after the passage of a train, locking the route main line. I handcranked 402 Points reverse and talked 1H02 past the signal and inserted the description at 1210 Signal, cancelling the description at 104. ARS would not set a route past signals 1210 and 1206 trains having to pass them at danger. After that all subsequent routes worked ok. This happened for the following train. Is this a bug?

What was the ARS route-setting status for the train?

Yes, but James was asking what ARS was reporting about what it thought the train was doing, rather than whether it was enabled or not.

Signals 1210 and 1206 are automatic signals so ARS status won't have anything to do with them clearing. I would however expect them to clear with the berth tracks occupied, rather than a route needing to be set upto them.

I've opened Mantis 14019 for those with access.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

What happened is correct. The directional locking is set by the route being set, which was not set, which prevents the auto signals from showing a proceed aspect. Confirmed with SSI data.
