I am setting up a free Simsig host server for the community, so would like to download every Simsig and timetable onto it, with the current download limits this will take ages.

" said:Not meaning to be rude or anything, but what is this meant to set out to achieve?Many (more than half in my experience) participants in multiplayer games are willing to host in principle but cannot in practice, either because of lack of technical knowledge, or in some cases, restrictions by their ISP. This will make it much simpler for them to host games. ETA: Also it will allow more than one person to share the burden of hosting a long duration game, or hosting could be entered as another panel in the rota if the game is busy.
