Ok so I have hit a dead end and cannot fathom out what I am doing wrong (and yes I feel I have read the manual)

1) How do you get a train into the Freightliner terminal when coming from Dagenham. I have the train in the right position and have left clicked 1601 and 1602 but then I don't appear to be able to do anything else?

2) I have called for acceptance at Seabrook sidings but I keep getting 'No overlap allowed'

I purchased this sim sometime ago but was having so much fun with Victoria SE that I put it on the back burner

Can someone give me some advice please before I put this back on the back burner out of frustration

**Cancel Seabrook I have solved that - Eventually**

To get a train into the FLT, you need to use the Ground Frames. You seem to have been able to release 1601 and 1602, now go to Show>Lever Frames> 1601/1602 to operate the levers. You need to pull both releases (the blue and gold sliders), both sets of points (black levers) and then clear the signal (I think it's lever 6). Once the train has entered the FLT, put all the levers back, in the reverse order (i.e. signals then points then releases), close the lever frame window and right click the flashing button next to 1601 and 1602 on the main view.

At Seabrook you need to wait for the train to come to a stand at signal 673 and for the overlap to drop out before you can set the route into the sidings.

Hello,

Sorry to bring this up (again). I'm quite new to LTS and SimSig.

I'm having problems with this: in my case the overlap won't drop out....

I checked for updates, there are none available. I'm using the LTS 2014 timetable, start time 0:19:00. Train 4L63 (enters at 0:49:00) should go into the Seabrook sidings via signal 673. As soon as it arrives at Grays and stops at signal 673 (no route has been set from signal 673 and the signal is red) I ask for the slot which has been given. But the overlap of signal 673 just don't want to drop out so I can't set a route to the sidings....

What am I doing wrong? :S

Thanks in advance!

If I recall correctly the train is too long for the TORR to operate. You need to manually cancel the route from the signal in rear of the train (671 I think) and then you can set the road from 673.
