Out of interest are there any plans to amend the layout in the Lapford station area to facilitate the goods yard that used to be there?
Kind regards.
No, I had the necessary information for everything done up to CN2. If the rest of the information came to light then I may but it would be back at the bottom of the single-sided tuit queue.

Have you thought about adding in the new block signals at Feniton between Exeter and Honiton? They replaced the signals protecting the level crossing which previously were just there to protect the level crossing. They now break the section up to allow a train to depart Pinhoe before one gets to Honiton, and Honiton before a train gets to Pinhoe.

In the short term, would you consider changing Lapford to a key location, to allow trains to reverse there? That would allow trains to the yard to be timetabled as described by JC92.

Incidentally, while checking Lapford I noticed that there's no entry location for Crediton sidings- is this intentional?

Hi and greetings to all,

(and sorry for my bad English, i’m a basic speaker)

let me file a bug report about the V5.1 Exeter sim. When more than one train entering at Castle Cary, close to each other, the first train picks up the last’s headcode.

Explained:

@13.20 6C73 enters at sig. DA116.

2 mins later, 1C81 enters at sig. DA116, too. Its headcode overwrites 6C73’s headcode immediately.

@13.24 1C81 stops behind sig. DA116. 2 mins later, its headcode appears already at sig. W160, carried by 6C73

@13.34 1C82 enters at sig. DA116. 2 mins later stops behind sig. DA116 too, then its headcode transfers to 1C81 before latter reaches sig. W160.

Finally, 1C82 get four stars. In this picture, the headcodes correctly: at sig. E116 is 6C73, behind it, at sig. E12 is 1C81, and the last one with the four stars is 1C82.

I made a savegame when 6C73 enters (in 2015 mode, i’ve not checked the others), so everyone can repoduce this. Thanks to the signaller who let run a slow freight train before two express passenger services (it was the AI).

And thanks for this great work, Exeter is my favourite sim, too!

Paniadam I have tested this on version 5.1 of the sim and can't reproduce the fault. Please check for updates in the loader to get the latest version of the sim.

I was able to reproduce on version 5.0. (For which Mantis 15042 applies on the issue tracker)

There does not seem to be any code that would prevent it happening - added.

Thanks for the answer,

this was the first thing what i’ve checked on the „About” window, it’s the v. 5.1. In the loader, no newer version available, so i hope, this is the latest.

E260 to E35LOS is pathed daily by 5E47 - http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/C43576/2018/08/03/advanced but isn't valid in the sim.

Doesn't mean that a valid ROUTE is available, which is separate from a valid PATH.
