Hi, can someone give me a quick lesson in creating a new path please? I have Maidstone East, & I want to add the RHTT path, but involves a reverse at Maidstone East. Many thanks in advance.

The relevant section on timetable writing is here. I will say those 3Sxx trains are rather pesky when it comes to timetable validation. It may be possible that even once you've input the timetable you may need to split it if it leaves the area and comes back in later.

Like TomOF, I would also direct you to the Wiki for a full explanation of the timetable editor. As a quick guide, take a look at the supplied timetable and use that as a basis for learning how the editor works- maybe open the simulation twice, one with the default timetable loaded and another with no timetable loaded for you to experiment with. See which locations are required to get the train through the area (you don't have to time the train at every station and junction- some timing points you have to include, others you don't) and work from there. In terms of reversals, identify the signal you want the train to reverse at. Then, look at the list of locations. Sometimes there'll be a timing point at that signal (e.g. "Reverse Sig. 123"), at other times there's a 'general' location that covers several possible signals (e.g. "MadeUpPlace West Reverse"). The art of TT writing is best learned by experimenting and trying it for yourself, that said if there's something specific you're struggling with, post it on here and someone will be able to help.
