This was reported in the Yorkshire Post yesterday. The incident occurred on the embankment overlooking Leeds Bus Station and was witnessed by one of my former colleagues in the bus station. Apparently there was a "fight" the victim was trying to escape, so he climbed one of the OHLE pylons. I won't repeat some of more gruesome details of the incident that were reported. Perhaps then you may wish to advise your former Colleague to speak to the Police, as the article states they are not treating the incident as suspicious, and he did not appear to have been chased. I would have thought that if he was pursued onto the line by one or more assailants then the Police would surely be very interested in hearing that side of the story. Log in to reply |
