First of all, I would like to thank: -CALV -BUST -GONZ -RFD -LAMA -MAC -DAVJ -RB9S -MARK -WSM -ADAM -CTC% -MADA -BAZZ -AF -RMCE -VORX -ARON -JEZZ -JEFF -CM01 -HUI For joining. None of this could've been done without you guys. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And now for the scores. (Note: We didn't finish the t.t. There were still three sim days to go)... Trains passing timing points: 12058 total timing points On time: 7380 (61%) 2 mins late: 1773 (15%) 5 mins late: 1002 (8%) Over 5 mins late: 1903 (16%) Minutes lost/gained overall: Total minutes lost by you: 3350 Total minutes recovered by you: 46 Trains using the correct platforms: 1073 occasions Correct: 946 (88%) Opposite: 0 (0%) Incorrect: 127 (12%) Miscellaneous: Total routes cancelled with trains approaching: 11 Total wrong routes set for trains: 14 Total joining moves abandoned: 0 Total trains removed: 0 Total trains shortened: 0 Other points lost: 33 TOTAL SCORE 86632 OUT OF 121631 (71%) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now it's reflection time! Two stars and a wish: Star 1: Before the session started, I set myself a limit for incorrect routes. And that limit was 20. I really wasn't expecting a result like that and I am proud of myself and my players for helping me achieve my under 20 goal for incorrect routes. Star 2: One other goal that I set for myself was to not delete any trains. And none were deleted. I avoid deleting trains from my sessions because it is unrealistic and it's cheating in a way. Once again, I'd like to thank my players for avoiding situations that may lead to trains having to be deleted. Wish: One thing that I wasn't too good at, was sending trains to their booked platforms. It sounds like a simple task but when you have an early or delayed train at a terminus, then problems will arise. So The thing that I need to improve on the most is holding back, regulating and diverting traffic around terminus stations. On the whole, I can say that the session was a success and was fun and eventful. Hope to be doing more like this sometime soon and thanks to everyone that participated. Part of the problem is trains getting routed into the wrong platform, even when the booked platform is free... That's how it all starts!

" said:" said:Not all platforms are interchangeable. For example, suppose 9 is still blocked so you send an 8-car train into 6. 9 clears, but the 12-car booked into 6 can't go into 9 instead. Now what do you do?Surely it is much better to send a train into the wrong platform, than have it sitting outside the station for 10 minutes waiting for the right platform to become available? It is better to get them in to an empty platform. Same with sticking trains on top of others when you've got a free one. Why hold a train outside unnecessarily when you can have it in and out without having any problems?
