Ok, so it probably has to be a Virgin Atlantic destination so at a guess that would be JFK, ATL, ORD, Dulles, LAX, LAS, maybe DFW. Oi, I've been to Atlanta and it's not THAT bad! People are far more friendlier in the South then in the North, so kudos to the guy for getting a free trip there

I doubt very much any of them had looked at a timetable or something like Real Time Trains or they wouldn't have gone there in the first place. Maybe one did and the sheep followed. I had an almost identical experience, viewing Tornado at Drem in March 2009. It was running from Edinburgh to, I think, York. I thought that I could get a better shot from the down platform. Just as Tornado appeared, over my shoulder came a loud hoot from an East Coast HST. By the time it had passed, so had Tornado. It's on YouTube: Would East Coast have sent me to the USA? I doubt it!
